Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report
OK. I took considerable "Flack" over my last fishing report. Another Guide said "GiddyUp, it is too negative. You are killing fishing in Ft. Myers."
The following is my revised report.
Yesterday (July 27, 2006)I gave my charter away to Capt. David Dean. On my Tuesday July 25 charter, a lady customer hurled "IN MY BOAT" from the stinch of dead fish and Red Tide. (Why she had to hurl in da boat is still a mystery to me. Maybe she didn't want to make the Red Tide worse. And by the way, it was serious CHUNKAGE. Looked like Eggs Benedict)
PLS feel free to contact Capt. David Dean at this email address (captaindavid@familytraditionguide.com)
He will attest to 4-5 live well baits dying and NOT CATCH A SINGLE FISH. So, my report is as follows:
IF I SAY THE FISNING SUCKS IN SW FL, IT SUCKS. IF I SAY THE RED TIDE IS ALL CONSUMING, IT IS. IN OTHER WORDS, THE FISHING, RED TIDE, AND DEAD FISH HERE SUCK!
And so goes my revised report. I'm not signing this one with a GiddyUp. (Actually I am but I'm not) Trust me, it stinks here. Lebanon, Texas. or Afg might be more fun than Ft. Myers. It has to get better.
