Southwest Florida Fishing Report - Bonita Springs to Captiva

Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
November 4, 2007
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Rod bending and drag screaming can be found within 100

yards of the Gulf of Mexico along SW FL Beaches. GiddyUp Fishing Charters has scored snook (big), trout (big), mackerel (big Spanish and Kings), Little Tunny (GiddyUp and dog love to eat them) and Tarpon. Throw in (1) 39" Cobia hanging off of a Nav Marker and Tripletail hanging on the crab pot floats, FISHING IS ON FIRE DOWN HERE. Granted the wind has been obsene of late but who cares. SAY WHAT? HOW CAN YOU FISH IN 30MPH WINDS say you? OFFSHORE 30MPH WINDS ON THE WEST COAST mean lake like calm water on the leeward side. And that's where the fish stacked up.

The Gulf of Mexico is simply lit-up right now. I have a 12PM 4HR charter dragging big lip lures. Wind today is ZERO MPH. Our first day of LIGHT WIND in 1 month.

Sorry I can't bring you more details now that I've got you HOT AND BOTHERED but throw me an "UNDERSTANDING BONE." I gotta go fish so just try to imagine a fish biting orgy until I get back to ya.

GiddyUp
