Ft. Myers - Offshore

Capt. Rick Featherstone
September 18, 2004
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Back In Action!

Greetings,

Well Ivan, thanks for the fire drill, you had our attention for a while! Thankfully there was no affect here from Francis or Ivan. Naples is fully back to normal, Ft. Myers Beach is pretty much cleaned up from Charlie and most business are back in the game. There is lots of hotel space and traffic is minimal. Our boat is back in service, rigged and ready to go.

Offshore there are reports of good kingfish and cobia action. We have not been out in two weeks but I suspect the fall bait migration has started. Tarpon have been reported in close, and lots of big sharks are on the beach as well. Goliath were unaffected by the storms and are eating everything in sight right now.

We have plenty of openings after seventeen cancellations. We would love to get you out and scream off some line!

Bow em’ Up,

Capt. Rick Featherstone
