Large Snapper, Amberjack, Goliath Grouper, Cobia

Capt. Brett Swenson
October 19, 2015
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Good trip last week just before it started to blow. Tons of bait on wrecks. Really good Mangrove Snapper bite some up to 25 inches. We lost our share of fish also. 4 Goliath Groupers came up, largest estimated 425 lbs.
Great Whitebone Porgy bite on ledges. Great eating fish better than grouper, good since we had to throw back numerous Red Grouper due to closure. Brought in a few nice Gag Grouper which made up for it....
