Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing report for the week ending 1/27/2012

Trout fishing has remained excellent, Ruth Schroeder above with one of many slot trout the she and her family caught on thursday. Live shrimp under a popping cork has worked best, but there were several times this week that a bait on the surface did not work best. Warm air and cool water can make the fish less active, when this happens try offering something on the bottom.

Luke Schroeder also got in on the action, lots of big ladyfish and a scattered bluefish are making for great nonstop fishing.
All indications say that spring will come early this year meaning a early tarpon season, we are taking reservations now. Get yours while they last don"t wait!
