Haulover Inlet - Saltwater Fishing Report

Excuse my tardiness but it has been an eventful past couple months despite the C-19. Many charter boats were shut down and were not able to charter fish. Once the gates were open everyone was back to normal and the fish were hungry.
May was very good fishing for the boats that were able to get out. Many sailfish, kingfish, blackfin tuna, big wahoo and also the occasional large bull mahi roaming the deep.

Inshore and wreck fishing were also consistent the first couple weeks in May. Got lucky to fish open season with legendary Capt. Bouncer Smith, Bill Springer , and Ab Raymond they put us on a limit of black grouper in just a few hours time. Thank you Billy Springer and father for making this possible.

Overall, it has been a hectic couple months for everyone. Despite the rona we were able to spend some quality time with the family.

Stay Safe,
Capt. Fred David
