Hernando Fishing Report

Capt. Josh Fritz
September 10, 2015
Hernando Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Inshore fishing is great we now have large schools of red fish roaming the outside points and islands from Hudson to Chassahowitzka. Reds are chewing great on live and dead bait, live green backs and pin fish is candy to them. Fresh cut mullet or lady fish will get there attrition. Best bite right now is on the turn of the outgoing tide. Snook action is heating up along the mangroves and deep holes live green backs have been the best bait, both incoming and outgoing tides are producing good action. Shallow water grouper fishing is very good best bite is on the higher tide of the incoming and first part of the outgoing. Frozen threadfins and pin fish for best bait. Right now there still is a lot of floating grass making it tuff to troll and cast plugs it wont be long till we get a good blow out of the east to push it out. Stop into Precision Tackle located in Spring Hill Fl in the WellCare plaza Dave will get you set up for your fishing adventure. Book your trip ASAP the fishing is great and will just get better and better.
