Hernando Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Rain has kept the fish and scallops off in deeper water. Last month Capt. Earl Waters did a wonderful job speaking at the Fly fishing club the Tarpon Coast Fly Fishers. We now meet at R-Beach in Hernando Beach... I have to tell you the food is really good.
One thing I must do in this article is congratulate my friend and fishing buddy, Stan Hickson from Hernando Beach. Stan won the Nature Coast Anglers coveted "Fisherman of the Year" award. Nature Coast Anglers is one of the premier fishing clubs on the West coast of Florida. Congratulations, Stan, I know you worked hard for it.
