Homosassa - Saltwater Fishing Report
Do you love the thrill of the hunt? Do you enjoy spending time in nature, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and wildlife? If so, then Inshore Fishing is definitely for you! In this post, we will talk about our recent fishing trip to the Homosassa flats in Florida. We had an amazing time catching a variety of fish including redfish, snook, trout, and sheepshead. This was definitely an adventure that we will never forget!
We started out the morning looking for Speckled Trout and when we pulled you it was on! We landed several very nice trout, with the biggest one going 24 inches. The action was non-stop for a while, and we were really enjoying ourselves. After a few hours, we decided to move on and try our luck elsewhere.
We made our way over to the Homosassa flats and started fishing for redfish. We quickly started hooking up and landed several nice reds. The biggest one of the day went 25 inches. We were really happy with our catch but wanted to try one more spot for a Inshore Slam.
WE pulled up at our last spot and started throwing gold spoons looking for cover areas that the snook would be laying in. We had several follows and finally hooked one. We brought in a really nice 24-inch snook to the boat to complete our Inshore Slam!
All in all, it was an amazing day of fishing. We were able to catch a variety of fish and had an incredible time doing it. If you love spending time outdoors and enjoying nature and we caught an Inshore Fishing Slam on the Homosassa flats!
