God, You and The President
Happy New Year! This message is about God and his world. It’s a brand new year and I know most of you have been in the Holiday Spirit and trying to make good cheer out of a terrible year for our country. When 9/11 occurred, we were all shocked to see those planes crash into the world trade centers.
My feelings and emotions were so shattered for those families that all I could do is pray for them and our country. That our President will lead us in what is right for our country through God’s eyes. I truly believe we need to pray for our leaders and military personnel every single day. Freedom is precious and we have had to fight to keep it.
Our most advanced secret services to protect this country are at an all time high here at home. Yes, we must go on and live our lives like we have in the past because it is the American way. But deep down we all know we have been invaded by people we thought were our neighbors.
We have enough troubles of our own without having to worry about some group of lunatics causing havoc on innocent people. We take this act of pure evil in a very serious way. Without going into a lot of conjecture, I am asking you for the New Year to listen to the news every day and keep up with what is going on.
Life is not the same as it was before 9/11. We all know there were bombings before 9/11, but not of the magnitude we all seen on the television. We know who we are dealing with and it is plain to see a time has come to stop this nonsense with all available manpower if it is God’s will.
I pray that God has leaded me to write this note to, whoever might see it, that they understand a great source is at hand to the end. I have asked God to lead me in any direction he deems necessary in all walks of life and you should do the same.
If you have read this far and you are not mad at me then you have God in your heart. My new vow is to try to live life to the fullest each day. Call up your parents and your children and tell them that you love them. Hug a kid, kiss a Mom, and embrace your family. Work hard. Play hard. Fish and hunt hard. Eat and drink little. We need to stay a little hungry. Life and freedom is what we make of it. America it is time to get in shape and lose some weight. You may have to run for it to keep alive.
Is Christ in your heart today? If not, all you have to do is say a simple prayer like this: Dear God, I know that Jesus is Your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name. Amen.
