Fishing Report for Homosassa, Florida

Capt. Mike Locklear

Homosassa - Saltwater Fishing Report

Christmas is Jesus Celebrated Birthday

Happy Birthday Lord. If you don't know Jesus, let me tell you. He is the First and the Last. King of Kings! Lord of Lords! We have but one God and that is Jesus. Praise Him and sing hymns to Him! Thank You Jesus! I feel great when I rejoice in the Lord!

Dear Readers:

If you are like me, you still have not finished doing all your Christmas shopping. Perhaps you left out a favorite relative or even your spouse. A gift certificate is the quickest way to making a happy husband, Dad or Grand Dad or son/daughter for that matter, to a fun all day fishing trip with yours truly. A quick e-mail or two is all it takes to have a printable certificate in your hands before Christmas day.

More gift ideas follow. A quick run down to Wal-Mart, I purchased a gift certificate for my daughter. It took less than 5 minutes once I got there. Restaurant gift certificates are always good choices if you know where your hard-to-buy friend eats.

Last year I asked my mother-in-law to buy me a gift certificate to Bass Pro Shops. . You can go on-line at www.bassproshops.com and discover many holiday gift ideas for whatever the budget.

This year I am asking for cash. I don’t expect to get any. But there is no harm in asking. Cash is a neat short term gift which I like to give when I have extra. A longer lasting gift would be some really good mutual stocks that would grow. For small children who know what money is, savings bonds are cool gifts. They would remember you for as long as it takes to mature, which is 18 years.

If you have fished with me this past year, thank you very much for your business. If you have not, then you need to e-mail and get on the books for the new year of 2005.

But most of all, remember the true meaning of Christmas. It is the birthday of our living God, Jesus Christ. Remember to believe in what he did for us and how he lived and died, so that we may have everlasting life in heaven. Give thanks to Jesus in all things.

Best Wishes To You and the Family for a very Merry Christmas and a super healthy and successful Happy New Year.

Capt. Mike Locklear and Family
