Mosquito Lagoon, North Indian River & Banana River

Capt. Tim Masten

Indian River Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

Indian River Redfish!

The pressure was on, as angelrs from Texas joined me today. We all know that they have a great fishery management program there. While the morning started off slow with some very dense fog and very little action, Frank and Gary were not to be disappointed. We settled in on a school of 100 Redfish that initially were not cooperative. Lure after lure was refused, so we went to live bait, rigged on a 4/0 Daiichi bleeding bait circle hook. That was the ticket...fish on!

Here are a couple of 12 and 13lbers that they brought to the boat.

The fishing is getting HOT! Let's go fishing! 321-258-9015
