Mosquito Lagoon, North Indian River & Banana River

Indian River Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

Indian River Redfish

Today, I had the pleasure of fishing with a father son team of Mike and Darren Sato from California. They came a long way to catch a Redfish and were not to be disappointed.

With the recent, much needed rainfall, the water level has rinsen slightly and the fish are sticking tight to the bank to forage in areas that they were not able to get to before. Concentrate your efforts to the shallowest areas and you will find fish.

All fish were caught on Daichii "Butt Dragger" Hooks

(as you'll see lodged in the corner of the mouth) These hooks are sharp and weighted perfectly for this type of shallow water fishing.

Darren with a nice upper slot Redfish! Good casting Darren!

Dad was not to be denied! A fat Redfish of his own!

The weather is warming up and the fishing is HOT.....

.....Let's Go Fishing!!
