Indian River Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

Windy, but still catching fish: A little bit of everything has been biting as of late. Generally warm water temps have made the trout, snook, reds, jacks, ladyfish, etc. feel like feeding and when the weather has cooperated we have been doing well. From very shallow water early to the edges of flats, point, and island drop-offs later in the day Rip-Tide Weedless Shrimp in the night glow color patter, Yo-Zuri 3D Finglerings, and Yo-Zuri 3D-Poppers have been producing everything from small trout to some very nice snook and reds. Most trips we have had to work for our fish, but in the end everybody has been pretty happy. Cooler weather will drop the water temps a bit, but the cool down should not last long, so the fishing should stay productive as long as the winds allow us to fish effectively. If you will be in the West Palm Beach area this coming weekend stop by and say hi at the West Palm Beach Boat Show. I will be presenting inshore fishing seminars both Saturday and Sunday. The seminars are part of the Extreme Seminar Series presented by Florida Sport Fishing Magazine. Heck, even if you were not planning on being in town, it is worth the trip. Hope to see you there. Until next time, Tight-Lines to all.
Sincerely,
Capt. Ron Bielefeld
