Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Winter time Cobia fishing is red hot in Islamorada right now.Reel Sharp Sport Fishing charters have been getting 5 to 10 fish a trip. The Cobias have been on Rays in the sand in 15 to 30 feet of water. We have been seeing anywhere from 5 to 25 fish per Ray. This is awesome fishing and it is all done by sight fishing for these fish. Once you find them on a Ray get ready for the red hot action. Live baits like Grunts or Pin fish work great. There has also been some good Mutton Snapper action and Capt. Galon brought in a nice 12lb Mutton on a trip this weekend. Kingfish action has been very good and the Sails have been ok the last few days. The wind has been blowing pretty hard the last few days and is expected to lay down today.

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:

Good cobia fishing

Target Species:

sailfish, cobia, Wahoo, Kingfish, Snapper
