Great late summer dolphin and tuna fishing offshore

Capt. Bruce Andersen
August 31, 2020
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had some awesome dolphin and tuna fishing the last few weeks offshore of Islamorada aboard the new Captain Easy. It's probably been the best fishing of the summer this year. lots of dolphin between 400 and 1000 feet of water and the tuna bite for black fin tuna has been excellent too. September has also been very good the last several years so it should be a great time to come down to the keys for a fishing trip. Things are very close to normal in the keys right now so come on down and lets go fishing!

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:

We should continue to see excellent dolphin and tuna fishing through September and into early October. Once we get a few cold fronts in October the action will shift closer in towards the reef with good live bait fishing for sails and good reef and bottom fishing as well
