Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had some great fishing down here in the Keys the last few weeks offshore of Islamorada aboard the Capt. Easy out of Smugglers marine at Mile Marker 86. Dolphin fishing has been good through late summer and September so far and there have been a good number of large fish mixed in to the catch. Just a few weeks ago we manged to put this 57 pound slammer bull dolphin in the box.

The fishing for Black fin tuna has also been very good especially the last few days. We've been live baiting the tuna's with pilchards and it's made for some fast action with some really nice fish on most of our fishing charters. Here are some pictures.

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:

The dolphin and tuna fishing should stay very good until we get a strong cold front or 2 over the next month. After that the action for sailfish, wahoo, kingfish, and tuna just noutside the edge of the reef should heat up,
