Islamorada Red Hot Reef and Offshore fishing!

Capt. Bruce Andersen
May 10, 2018
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had some spectacular fishing the last few weeks offshore of the Florida Keys aboard the Captain Easy out of Smugglers marina in Islamorada. Offshore the dolphin action has been excellent with plenty of schoolies and gaffers on all of our offshore trips and a few really nice slammer bull dolphin in the 30 to 40 pound range as well. In on the reef we caught some really nice black and gag grouper for last weeks opener of the south atlantic grouper season as well as plenty of nice size yellowtail snapper. Inshore the tarpon fishing has been very good aboard our new boat the conch 27 Easy Does it. We've had a great success rate and some action packed trips around the inshore bridges and channels.
