Islamorada Sailfish on the Sea Horse

Capt. Rick Rodriguez
November 12, 2012
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

: Look for more Sailfish action along the edge of the reef. There should be a big increase of Kingfish action also. The Kingfish are usually on the edge of the reef and out to 200 feet. It is not uncommon to catch kingfish in deeper water from time to time. Wrecks and hard bottom areas should start to produce more big Mutton Snapper. Larger Black fin Tuna and some Mahi should be common swimming in schools chasing baitfish throughout the day in and around 120 feet. Fishing has always been great down here in Islamorada and should continue to be outstanding for months to come.
