Islamorada Sea Horse

Capt. Rick Rodriguez
February 8, 2012
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and kingfish are in our area. We caught nice Wahoos yesterday trolling lure and slow trolling speedos. Sailfish action is great one day and just good the next. Kingfish have been easy to find and are averaging 12 pounds.

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:

Forecast: If the water temperature continues to stay warm we will probably have an early spring migration. Some early indicators observed in our area have been the Black Fin Tunas and big Amberjacks at the Humps. Mahi have continued to bless us with great frequency in addition to the Wahoos moving up the edge of the reef. Great fish is here now and more of it will more than likely continue.
