Islamorada Snapper Fishing

Capt. Kristian Demblans
September 19, 2014
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yellowtail Snapper are an abundance species off these tropical reefs. Year around the bite is on. This week was no exception. The wind was light and the current was perfect. Not dead but not ripping either. Yellowtail bite is good but the Mangrove snapper bite is even better. The spawning season is among us and on the right spot the limit is not far away. The Mutton Snapper is another species on the bite here. Its truly great to fill the cooler with all 3 Snapper species. This has always been a great month for fishing and continues the reputation.

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:

Looking foward to Sailfish moving through. We caught one off the reef this week.

Target Species:

Snapper
