Islamorada welcomes back the Mahi Mahi

Capt. Kristian Demblans
April 16, 2014
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

THE mahi are back. Much anticipated return indeed. There has been alot of sargasso floating out there that make for spectacular weed lines that stretch out as far as the eye can see. Mahi are roaming at 600 ft of water on average. This time of year is exciting. The bigger ones are still around in big numbers. The wind has helped plenty. To my suprise the surf has not kept us off of fishing. Very managable seas. Fish on and tight lines!
