Mahi/Dolphin, Tuna, and Bill Fish

Capt. Rick Rodriguez
July 5, 2010
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Islamorada, Sea Horse Deep Sea fishing
Dolphin/Mahi have been easy to find and are being caught in 300 feet and deeper. Most of the bigger Dolphin have been in small packs moving quickly up the current feeding under the birds. Lately the further offshore the better, more so because of less boats to compete with. Blackfin Tuna can be found feeding on the surface at the Humps early in the morning. Most of these fish have been caught slow trolling with small in-line feathers. The average size is like a foot ball.
See ya on the water,
Capt Rick
