Upper Florida Keys & Islamorada

Capt. Izzy Donatiello

Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

The last two weeks all types of fishing has been very good. I did an afternoon reef trip with some anglers from my old state of New Jersey. They caught some nice Mangrove and Yellowtail snappers and Cero mackerel to six pounds and a King mackerel. The dolphin fishing is good with more big fish showing up and nice size schoolies. The best news is that the fish have been only fifteen miles out in the first shipping lane. There been a lot of debris, weeds and bait in this area. I fished for Tarpon a couple evening and been having very good success. My anglers have been getting four or five tarpon bites a trip along with big sharks, cudas and lately Jack Crevalles.

Relax, book a trip with a full time pro--Give us a call 1-800-320-2753 Izzy
