Upper Florida Keys & Islamorada

Capt. Izzy Donatiello

Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Dolphin season is in full swing. The fish are between 16 to 24 mile out; birds indicate their location. Their is a lot of nice schoolies, with a few big ones mixed in. Monday, besides Dolphin; we caught a hand full of nice Blackfin tuna. Tuesday, I did two tarpon trips; on the morning one my anglers caught 5 out of seven and in the afternoon; they caught 4 out of 6 fish hooked. The fish ranged from 60 to over a 100 pounds. This is the time of the year to catch a fish over a hundred pounds and enjoy a nice sunset; all at the same time.

If this interests you; give me a call 1.800.320.2753.

Izzy
