Upper Florida Keys & Islamorada

Capt. Izzy Donatiello

Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Over the past weeks, I been out almost everyday. And I can't remember a day when the wind hasn't been blowing hard. We been able to catch fish. on the not so windy days I been live baiting on the reef edge. We been catching sails and kings. On the windy days. I been working the patch reefs in 30 to 40 feet of water and doing good with some nice red, gag and black groupers. And some 3 pound mangrove snappers, with some muttons, and a lot of cero mackerel and yellowtails. On the bad days, I been running out to the gulf and catching a ton of Spanish mackerel, bluefish, trout, snappers. Last week, we found a school of 15 to 20 pound bull redfish.

Take someone fishing, book a trip with a full time pro. Call 1-800-320-2753.

Izzy
