Over the past week, fishing in general has been a little on the slow side. The water temperature took a down turn. There are a few sails being caught, some kings in the deeper water, amberjacks on the humps. The Spanish macks are still eating good in the gulf.
I decided to patch reef fish. I was the right choose. We caught a lot of big cero mackerels, legal groupers, and quite a few Hogfish. You had to cover a lot of water, but it was worth the effort.
Light tackle sportfishing in Islamorada Florida Keys. I specialize in live bait fishing for tarpon, trout, snappers and snook in Everglades National Park. I also fish for sailfish, yellowtail snapper, grouper and dolphin in the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
