Upper Florida Keys & Islamorada

Capt. Izzy Donatiello

Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Dolphin fishing still remains hit or miss. When you do find them that will be real nice fish. one of the great things about this time of the year there is very little pressure on them. The sure bet is the Blackfin tuna fishing. The offshore humps have a good number of tuna on them with some nice fish to 20 pounds mixed in. There were some some nice kings being caught off the reef in 100 to 200 feet of water. Sailfish are starting to show up in increasing numbers in the same depth.

On the reef, the Yellowtail snappers are still biting good.
