Upper Florida Keys & Islamorada

Capt. Izzy Donatiello

Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Last week I went off shore. There was a lot of Blackfin tuna and bonito around. The tuna were under birds. Most of the fish were on the small size. In some scattered weed in 350 feet; I also found some nice schooley Dolphin. I tried live baiting for a sailfish for 2 hours. I had one bait crushed, but no hookups

On another trip. I stayed in close to the reef. Schools of bonito were under the birds. I also found some kings and cero mackerel. I finished the day anchored; catching some snappers for dinner.
