Smoker kingfish are here

Capt. Izzy Donatiello
November 25, 2009
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing is getting more into the winter time pattern. There are some tuna still on the humps; the dolphin fishing has slowed down. The sailfish are still in good numbers. Smoker kingfish are on the wreaks and rough bottom; blue runners are the bait of choice.

The yellowtail snapper bite is good; with some mangrove and mutton snappers mixed in. The grouper bite is starting to come on strong.

Everglades park is still producing big mangrove snappers. The spanish mackerels are in the gulf.
