Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

this past week the reef bite pick up. The yellowtail snapper started to bite. The water has been clear so -. So run like leaders. So small yellow jake heads with shrimp have been working awesome flatlining the chum slick.there are crappie fish you don't want at the surface so it helps to make sand balls and took your bait in it.the current has fluctuated from fast to slow be sure to fish the lighter current and that's usually when the moon is out.the black fin tuna are back at the humps and slow trolling artificials small dark squids or little eelsare working. One can also take live pilchards and flatline him off the transom letting it back and you will catch bigger blackfin tuna. Fishing has been great last week and I think it will continue with the influx of tourists.

Target Species:

Snapper, Tuna
