Tarpon Fishing Upper Keys

Capt. Duane Baker
June 17, 2013
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello From the Keys,

Tarpon fishing is still in full swing. It has been challenging with some rain, clouds and occasional lightning. Most of the Tarpon are heading north on both coasts. We have been catching most of our fish on a worm fly for the past couple weeks. Some days can be frustrating but it is a sight to behold when a big tarpon eats your fly and then goes crazy. If it was easy it would not be as much fun. Summer fishing will be here soon. Early am. Bones, Reds, in the backcountry and Permit mudding and tailing.

Tight Lines.
