Fall flounder

Capt. Scott Tait
September 29, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

On a recent 1/2 day trip with Jeff Trout we managed 12 flounder to 22" and a 23" redfish. We were using a 3/8oz. Tait's Bait jig in red tipped with a mudminnow.

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

Flounder and sheepshead are money, while you can still catch plenty of reds in the creeks and bull reds in the St. John's River and it's jetties. A piece of ladyfish, live or dead mullet or a piece of shrimp on a three-way swivel rig with just enough weight to stay on the bottom.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead. From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
