Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well fighting a front the last few days has made the fishing very tuff. I guess a front this late really affects the fish. And you know what comes after the front the HIGH WINDS……
The last 3 days I have had to do a lot of running to just boat a few nice fish. There have been plenty of Blue fish and Jacks to at least keep the rods bent. A far cry from all the nice Trout and Redfish the last few weeks.
Hopefully the next few trips I will see things get back to normal. The wind is going to slow down some starting tonight so I have high hopes for my charters this up coming week.
I did still manage to catch a few nice Trout today but ended up going for the sure deal with the Blue fish and Jacks.

Yesterday the guy just wanted to hunt nice Reds the whole trip and that's exactly what we did. No shortage of the Reds but a shortage of the ones that were hungry.
We did manage to catch 2 that were in the 6lb range and several small Flounder.

Well I'll be back with the report from this week soon and I hope it will be better.
Until next time tight lines Capt. James Howard
