Flooded with bait

Capt. Scott Tait
September 19, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

On a recent trip with John Miller,Seth,Phil and Scott from Alabama we tallied 18 redfish to 25" and 2 flounder to 22" on a half day charter. Fishing the backs of creeks on the lower halves of the tide, using mudminnows under a float.

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

Croakers are in thick all along the river. A few more flounder are showing but not the numbers we're used to. What is really glaring though is the absence of trout in any numbers which I attribute to this past winter's hard freeze.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead. From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
