Flounder abound!

Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

On a recent charter trip with Otis and Tony Noble we caught a number of ladyfish and jack crevalle to start the trip off for some fast action. Then we settled in for what we came for which was the southern flounder. My clients were experienced anglers that worked the nooks and crannies of the stretch of docks that has produced for me for years. We boated 5 but threw back 3 and lost a nice 4-5lber boatside. Adding a 20" trout and some seabass. We used a fishfinder/slip-rig and 1/2oz jigs tipped with mudminnows.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead. From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
