Capt. Scott Tait
August 12, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

On a recent scorcher of day, Captain Scott and party of three endured 105 degree humiture to snag 8 redfish to 24", 4 trout to 17", and 6 flounder to 19" with a few jacks and ladyfish thrown in for good measure. Most of the fish were caught on mullet/mudminnows tipped on a jig or under a float rig.

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

Croakers are showing up in force as well as th flounder are starting to come on. In a month to a month and a half as the days shorten this will trigger the fall feed preparing for winter and captains like myself will be happier.
