Redfish Flats

Capt. Jeff Crumpton
March 4, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello everyone just finished fishing the IFA Redfish Tour on Feb.27,2010 we took 6th place out of about 100 boats. The redfish bite has been and continues to be off the hook. The key bait for me has been Big Bite Baits in paddle tail dark or light color. I like the fact that Big Bite Baits are loaded with scent and will not dry out on your hook or jig. The best bite has been on the falling tide or the last 2hrs of the falling and the first 1-2 hrs of the incoming tide. Look for flats near deep water and never past up a dock. Tight Lines & Screaming Drags! Capt. Jeff Crumpton

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

Big Black Drum bite will be firing up soon get your crab traps out. With the new moon and full moon check the jetties and in front of Sandy Bottoms on the ocean side.

Target Species:

Redfish Black Drum
