Jacksonville, FL Fishing Reports

Capt. James Howard

Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Come on Spring time!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we are in that winter grind for sure….. One day is great next day totally different. And we still have February to get thru!!

A week ago the water was in the upper fifty’s and on a trip the other day it was fifty three. That is COOOOOOOOLD…….. I had a trip this past Tuesday the 29th with Robert Weech from south Florida. That’s right south Florida where the water is in the seventies and the Sail Fish are on fire.

He was only here on business and wanted to get out for a while. He did rub it in a little about how nice it was where he was from.

We fished hard for five hours catching only fourteen fish. It was a mixed bag of Trout Blue Fish and Sheepshead. One of the Sheepshead he caught on a plastic which is only the second time that has happened on my boat…..

Thanks for a good time Robert. Till next time.. Tight lines

Capt. James Howard (904)651-9557 Jacksonville Florida
