Running of the Bulls,(reds)

Capt. Scott Tait
November 3, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

On a recent charter with two gentlemen from North Dakota, Tom Donalds and Bill Benton we managed to boat side 14 reds from 26" to a whopping 48". Topping out the catch were 9 sheepshead to 5lbs. The redfish were caught on cut mullet and ladyfish and the sheepshead on fiddler crabs. All of these fish were caught at the Mayport Jetties.

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

As the big reds begin to wane, the sheepshead will continue to be the mainstay through about April, normally with plenty of nice redfish remaining in the creeks as well.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead. From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
