Slow reds and fast sheepshead

Capt. Scott Tait
March 13, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

We're finding nice concentrations of sheepshead in the river around rocks and docks adjacent to deeper water. Redfish continue to be slow to bite yet plentiful. However mudflats and incoming tide are a good combination. With either an artificial or live bait.

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

This has been the second week in a row of a constant warming trend. The sheepshead are here for month or two longer and the redfish and trout bite should continue to turn on. With flounder just around the corner!

Target Species:

Redfish,flounder, trout and sheepshead

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead. From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
