Temps on the rise

Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

With air and water temps on the rise,redfish are warming up and the bite is on. On a recent charter,(2/13) Dave Billard and I caught 16 redfish on artificials with only two being under the slot and one,(30")over the slot. Fishing chartreus jerk worms in shallow on the falling tide. Coupled with 19 trout on Catch 2000 Jr's in the silver and black mullet pattern we had a banner day for two.Water temps in the morning were 51 degrees by days end were up to 58.

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead.From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
