Variety, the Spice of Life

Capt. Scott Tait
November 28, 2010
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

On a recent charter with Mike Boler, and workmates Tim and Steve we started at the Mayport jetties for some jetty grouper, aka; sheepshead we managed nine to about four lbs. not a great showing but to catch nine you know you had alot more action than nine bites as they are the best at stealing bait,(that's why the striped prison suits) Then as the tide fell we took it back into the marsh and backwaters for some redfish and trout and ended up with 12 reds to 24" and 11 trout to 19". This time of year there is soo much going on I love putting together a " milk run" for my charters as you can specialize or run the gamut.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle inshore saltwater charters targeting primarily redfish , flounder , trout and sheepshead. From the Nassau River to the St. Johns River and the creeks and marsh in between. We use both live and artificial baits. Rods , reels bait , tackle , license , ice ,bottled water and a photo included.
