Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

This time of year makes it difficult to plan a fishing trip because of the weather (strong breezes and rough seas) on those days right after a cold front pushes through. However, this same weather is what turns the Sailfish bite on.
Mike, on Angler Management, had consistent days with "doubles" and catching Sails. He went 3 for 7 one day and 10/11 the next. Mixed in the bite were good size Mahi Mahi and Kingfish.
They were fishing a combination of Blue Runners and Goggle Eyes under kites in water from 150' to 240'. The water finally cleared up this week and Mike was able to find a great temperature break.

Jupiter Fishing Forecast:

Despite the lingering bitter cold up north, the temperature here ini Jupiter and Palm Beach is starting to warm up. This might slow the Sailfish bite down some, but anglers should still for those beautiful days on the water with Sailfish on the line. The Mahi Mahi bite should also start to improve over the next few weeks and hold strong through June.
March and April are the months we start to see Cobia showing up in numbers along the beach as well as smoker Kingfish on the ledge.
Bottom line, fishing should be great in the coming weeks and month!
