Jupiter Sails

Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing offshore has been nothing short of great. The Sail fish are here. For bites focus on the 200 foot to 150 foot range. Look for sail fish free jumping, birds and large amounts of flying fish. Live bait is the way to go if you can get it. Use 50 Lb. fluorocarbon under a kite for success. Keep a pitch bait close, we have seen a couple fish come to the boat in pairs. It is possible to get a bite or two trolling ballyhoo. There have been a few peanut size dolfin in the 150 foot range that we have caught this week.
The bite down the beach for Spanish mackerel has been on fire. Whatever you decide to target the bite is on. It's nice to get a vacation and spend the Holidays with my Family where it is warm. Merry Christmas to everyone, I will be back on the Georgia Lakes after New Years. To see pictures from this weeks catch go to www.gettinluckyfishing.com and click on the reports tab. See you on the water.
