Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

Deep sea fishing is all weather and conditions related. The weather had been rough all week, but finally laid down enough Saturday that we could fish (rained all day today and a cold front coming through tonight - it'll be 5-6 days before the seas lay down enough to fish again).
The early bite was slow with nothing but scattered weed everywhere that only fouled our hooks. Around 11:30, we found a defined rip and weed line in 200' east of Jupiter Inlet and had it all to ourselves. We put out live Blue Runners and quickly caught 4 Mahi. Called it a day around 12:30 with rains building.
The north current was roughly 3 mph and the water temp was 80 degrees.
Jupiter Fishing Forecast:

The first real cold front of the year is coming through this week and that means the Sailfish bite should start to turn and we can target the species. It also means windy days and rougher seas. When booking a charter, definitely look for one that will take you kite fishing. If you've never done it, it's a whole new way of catching Sailfish and definitely works.
Target Species:

Mahi Mahi (Dolphin) and Sailfish
