Mahi Madness - Jupiter

Capt. Jim Black
November 2, 2015
Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's between seasons off Palm Beach and Jupiter. Fishing for Mahi and Kingfish is starting to slow down and the Sailfish action hasn't caught fire yet. That doesn't mean we're not catching fish.

With the weather and seas finally cooperating, we ran 15 miles out yesterday to the edge of the Gulf Stream and were rewarded a nice catch of Mahi. We had 1 nice gaffer and several schoolies we released (not big on freezing fish).

Jupiter Fishing Forecast:

The weather looks great for the next few weeks with no fronts forecast for at least 2-3 weeks. This means perfect weather for getting out and with trolling the ledge for Mahi or Sailfish or running out to the Gulf Stream. When the cold fronts do start coming through, expect the Sailfish action to pick up.

Target Species:

Mahi, Kingfish, Sailfish

More Fishing Reports:

Offshore charter fishing Jupiter, FL at it's finest on the Black Attack. It's just a short boat ride to the ledge and you're catching Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Kingfish and any number of other pelagic species. Our primary goal is to ensure that everyone on board has a day of fun. We are a personal charter perfect for families, novices and avid anglers alike. Since fishing isn't "catching", we offer a "catch a fish guarantee" for those days the fish just don't want to cooperate.
