Red hot Mahi bite

Capt. Jim Black
December 13, 2015
Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Mahi bite off Palm Beach and Jupiter continues to be red hot. It seems that everyone is catching nice size Mahi on every trip in 110' - 400'. The seas are bumpy and you have to pick your days, but on the days you can get out, expect to catch fish trolling or on live bait.

The Sailfish action is also improving and we had a nice fish we caught in 400' Saturday. The Sailfish bite has been better north of Jupiter, but expect to find good action anywhere from Palm Beach inlet all the way north to Stuart.

My good friend, Mike of Angler Management, landed a slob Kingfish this past weekend which is unusual this time of year. Nice job Mike!

Jupiter Fishing Forecast:

You have to pick your days and fish around the cold fronts this time of year. Seas on a good day are 2-3' and on the days it blows are 6-8'. But, expect to catch Mahi and Sailfish on the days you are able to get out.
