Jupiter Inlet, Hobe Sound & Juno Beach

Capt. Colin Hickey
February 14, 2006
Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

It has been a bit windy, but we have potential. This week and weekend should bring beautiful conditions. Dolphin has been off and on, and when its on it is hot. Wahoo have been showing up, just don’t try and get them on the mono your using for winter sails. Winter will soon be gone and hopefully we can get some more fronts and for more big sailfish runs. Over the weekend I went 3 for 4 trolling north past the Loren towers. I find them only going after islander lures recently on the troll, do not know why. There has been bait outside of the inlet for kites, look for pelicans. If you get blue runners lately the Kings have found them tasty.

Tight Lines and Smooth Seas,

Colin Hickey
