Jupiter - Saltwater Fishing Report

Ernesto

Well Ernesto could be good or bad well soon find out. I will be getting out again on Saturday which means I will have another updated report then. Snook season starts at 12:01 September 1st. If you go out canals, river, inlet, and shore casting are the ways to go. Youd be able to get many tips at tackle stores I always here them giving away secrets, don't know why that particular fish but I am excited to see what Ernesto does to local fishing. Although the storm was completely blow out of proportion which we all knew, I think it definitely stirred up the water and possible may see mixed temp changes in many spots. Bait should be thick the next week or so and bonitos have slowly disappeared.

Best Bet: Yellowtail on the reef, they will not go away and they seem to be injecting steroids down there from what I hear. Also get some live bait while it should still be thick, and go for kings, youll most likely get a hoo mized in and maybe find a school of dorado. Look for weeds after this storm given time they may bunch together and a nice slow around them should raise some fish
